WINTER BLANKETS:

Winter and spring blankets are protected by 1000 Denier Cordura^® outer shell with terelene insulation quilted to a silky heavy duty nylon lining that polishes the coat. When combined with our terrific fit, the risk of rubbing is greatly reduced. The Cordura^® outer shell is NOT quilted through for maximum water repellency.

Standard Features: 1000 Denier Cordura®has an abrasion, tear and puncture resistance 5 times greater than nylon and 2 times geater than ballistic nylon. Rust resistant heavy duty hardware 2 front buckles with 3" of adjustment 3 D-rings for hood attachment, belly strap and two leg straps. Double darts ensure a perfect, contoured fit at the hip; contoured back and neck line offer a fit beyond compare. The following recommended temperature ranges are based on an average healthy horse with minimal hair coat to be comfortable and hinder further hair growth. Each horse's individual needs may differ depending on whether the horse has been clipped or is in poor health.

A winter quilted liner, used in conjunction with the "Premiere" or the "Springweight" blanket, offers versatility in a fluctuating climate and makes for a convenient double-blanketing system. (see the "Pegasus Program" section for more info on liners)

THE PEGASUS PROGRAM

A practical solution for fluctuating climates and weather conditions! The "Program" is basically a variety of liners that you can combine with an outer shell of your choice depending on your personal needs and climate conditions. The leg straps of the outer blanket pass through a slot in the liner to securely attach the liner to the outer shell. The liners can be used under a springweight or winter blanket for a less expensive, easy, double blanketing system, or under a bushwacker for some extra warmth. Leg straps should be added to the liner if you are planning on using it alone as a handy, light, stable blanket.
